At last we have leeks!

At last we have leeks starting to come through. I had practically given up on them, but the little green shoots are sticking through. The peas are growing like nobody's business, we'll have a good crop this summer. The disappointments so far are the tomatoes, they are just not doing anything even the ones that don't require warm conditions to grow. I might leave the tomatoes until April. Our biggest problem is not having anywhere warm to get everything started off. We have them in our conservatory, but that's cold as we don't have money to heat the house, let alone the conservatory. (Well I say conservatory, its more like a lean to with aclear plastic corrugated roof.) What we really need is some warm weather, its just so cold here, we get sun but the went takes any heat out.
